    It's a well-known fact among the Asai staff that when Chef Matsuoka comes to Asai, it leaves the restaurant free, and both Paul and Chika would say, "Matchan is coming, so we'll be free today."

    As expected, it was a slow day, so Matsuoka entrusted Chika with the important task of cooling the chijimi she had made with a fan and then wrapping it in plastic wrap.
